Interesting position as IT/System consultant at Brånås/Kløfta or in Vestby

Tasks

• assist with maintenance and development of our applications/operations system, in particular with focus on our domestic transport system and support systems around this area

• optimisation of processes and utilisation of system

• potential project management/project resource on everything from small, basic projects/tasks to larger projects

• cooperation with/follow-up of our system suppliers – specify and follow up development, ensure required functionality

• support and coordinate system operation along with superusers

• set up new customer requirements in processes and systems

• assist operations with securing and optimising the value chain

• EDI/communication between internal/external parties, be active in identifying new and better solutions           

We are looking for someone with the following qualifications

• IT background/graduate

• logistics background/graduate

• expertise in setup and utilisation of application

• expertise in transport systems and understanding of domestic transport challenges

• expertise in and understanding of value chain and optimisation of processes

• expertise in EDI and communication between systems

• knowledge of applications, projects, documentation, specification, support, and system agreements that need follow-up

Personal qualities

• independent with the ability to initiate improvement projects

• proactive and solution oriented. Accustomed to a hectic workday

• good language skills; Norwegian and English a minimum

• service-minded and accommodating

• driver license for passenger car

You should also be open to change, positive, sociable, structured, easy to communicate with, and have respect for others.
