Distribution Manager, Terminal Employee

We are hiring a route manager/terminal worker in Porsgrunn. The ideal applicant has experience from a similar position/work. 

You are self-motivated, solution-oriented, responsible, and feel a strong desire to improve and develop. You should be familiar with Vestfold, Telemark, and Aust-Agder areas and thrive in a hectic and varied working environment.
 

Tasks:

  • route optimization, responsibility for quality and productivity for your distribution vehicles
  • terminal handling, loading, and unloading of vans and trucks
  • follow-up of deliveries
  • daily pricing and preparation for invoicing
  • customer contact

Desired Qualifications:

  • you appreciate an active working day and possess a large work capacity
  • solution-oriented
  • responsible
  • concerned about good results and quality
  • willing to change
  • structured
  • experience with the usage of computer tools
  • experience in the transportation industry
  • good oral and written presentation skills must know Norwegian (and English)
  • truck driver certificate (T1-T4) or is willing to obtain the certificate
