Traffic Coordinator - Road Freight

About this job

We expect customer-oriented solutions and creativity to solve and improve customers' transportation needs. You are good at steering and anticipating daily events and solving unforeseen problems, while also taking measures to prevent recurrences. You have a coordinating role, ensuring that cargoes arrive at the right place at the right time in the most efficient way and ensure the maximization of ColliCare's own equipment. You maintain contact with all the right parties (clients, other ColliCare offices at home and abroad, transporters, and other involved parties) to make sure everyone has the correct information. Regular communication with customers is an important part of this role.
 

Your activities in short

Efficient and realistic design with our TMS tool. You take into account the requirements and possibilities of your customers and equipment. Take care of the necessary labeling and documentation related to export and import. You are responsible for the productivity of your transportation with careful planning. You take care of the arrival of the transports according to the schedule and make inquiries about the reasons for the deviations. You are involved in planning the expansion of your partner network and pricing as well as responsible for invoicing shipments, checking purchase invoices, and entering costs into our system.
 

Requirements for the role

• Experience in road transport planning and routing. Work experience in a relevant function is a big plus.

• Microsoft Outlook, Excel, TMS (Soloplan-Carlo on ColliCare)

• Experience in conducting export and import handling is also considered an advantage.

• Excellent command of Finnish as well as oral and written English.

• Enthusiastic team player, assertive and creative

• Working under pressure doesn't slow you down. The days are often busy and when working in a small team, work tasks change quickly, so adaptation and flexibility are absolutely necessary.

• Analytical ability

• Good communication skills and a great team player
